I have 2 young children and always buy natural skincare products for them. I lean towards using baby soap on my oldest child too because it tends to be gentler on the skin than other soaps. I only recently heard about the Jack n Jill brand but I hope it becomes more popular in the US since it’s a natural (Australian) soap that’s similar in quality to the top natural baby brands. It has a limited ingredient list with no added fragrance, though I believe the bark extract gives it a slight natural clean and earthy scent. It soaps up fairly well and did a great job cleaning my kids. I also appreciate that it’s PETA approved since I always look for brands that don’t test on animals and are part of the Leaping Bunny program (or programs that are similar to that overseas.) The soap arrived with an expiration date in 2025, so anyone who buys this soap as a backup to the bottle they currently have open won’t have to worry about the product expiring on the shelf.
This is a little bit pricier for the cost, but I’ve come to be okay with this for soaps that I feel good about using on my kids. This body wash has not caused any irritation for my kids skin, and is natural which is nice. There are a few things that I don’t love about this, but not the body wash itself. I wish there was a seal on the bottle, but I do trust that it was new. The pump part arrived not attached, which is fine, but it doesn’t stay on well. I don’t know if it was meant to be off, but the shampoo I got from this brand arrived the same way so I’m assuming it was intentional. My only other complaint is that it doesn’t dispense well from the dispensers we have in our kids showers, which we have never had a problem with before, but most people don’t have the dispensers we have so that can easily be overlooked. The cons of this are not significant enough to not like this product, I would recommend it.
This is a very mild baby wash that has mild ingredients for sensitive skin. This doesn't contain a lot of the chemicals in adult body wash (like SLS) which means it won't foam up as well. But that's a fine tradeoff in my opinion in order to make something very mild. When I used it on the baby, it worked very gently and didn't irritate their skin, so that's a big plus for me.
This product is safe for newborn to use as a shampoo and bodywash. The soap is made with natural ingredients, such as shea butter, calendula, and chamomile, which can help to soothe and nourish the skin, while also gently cleansing without drying out the skin. It is allergy tested and ph balanced. It can be used for newborn, eczema- prone skin babies or vegan. Bottle is 300ml and easy to pump. I like the bottle, which is cute pastel color. The product is also cruelty-free, vegan, and eco-friendly, which may be important to some parents.
Both my kids have sensitive skin and it can be hard to find personal care products that don’t cause irritation to their skin. I’m happy to say that we have been using the baby wash for our youngest and the shampoo/body wash for our toddler with no problems. I like that the bottle can be recycled and that ingredients are clean. I recommend giving this a try if your kiddo is sensitive to skin care products.
Got a boy and girl and this works great for both! We put this at the bathtub where are girl can easily reach and pump. Very nice lather, and cleans and washes off well. Friendly look for the kids bathroom. Kids do not cry if it gets in their eyes. No complaints with this kids soap. Fair price too.
This soap really surprised me! Usually with a natural soap the lather isn’t super great and with it being scent free you never know if it will have a chemical smell or leave a lingering smell on the body. This smelled genuinely like nothing and it lathers super well! One squirt is enough for my child’s entire head and body. I used it on both my two month old and my almost two year old and both reacted well to it! I would definitely recommend this if you need something for sensitive skin that also leaves your baby clean with no weird after smell!
I am very happy with this. I think it works well. It lathers very nicely and hair feels clean and soft after use.
If you’re looking for a clean, mild soap for your little ones, this is a pretty good soap. It’s unscented with light lather and cleans well. Your skin will feel moisturized after using it. It is mild enough that when my granddaughter got some in her eyes, she didn’t get worked up. The pump makes it easy not to overuse the soap and it has a collar to prevent it from spillage should it get knocked over or grabbed by the pump. My granddaughter’s skin did not experience any irritation. It’s a bit pricey for one 10.14 oz. bottle. The price is the only reason I would deduct one star from the rating.
The bottle is cute which makes fun for baby/kids shower/bath time. My son doesn’t have a sensitive skin but once in a while he might develop dry bumpy patches which we try to hydrate his skin as much as possible and reduce fragrance free soaps. This baby soap is ideal not only for babies but for kids who have sensitive skin. There are no dyes or fragrance added which is good. But keep in mind the bottle is not big compared to many other baby/kids soap. Also wish there was a safety seal other than that plastic lock that can be easily removed and tampered. Made in Australia
We previously tried the Jack N' Jill Baby Shampoo & Body Wash and loved it so I was excited to see if this product was just as good! (it was!) I was immediately drawn to the cute packaging with fun characters on them. The huge eyes and buck teeth make the characters look so whimsical and unique. You get one 10.14 oz pump dispenser bottle of Baby Wash. I love the dispenser bottle because it makes it easy to use when your hands are wet. No need to hold the bottle, just push down, and dispense the desired number of pumps onto your wash cloth. (we use 2 which is plenty to use on a baby or small child!) I didn't really notice any fragrance, making it suitable for little ones with sensitivities to perfumey fragrances. The baby wash pumps out of the bottle easily and lathers nicely. Some baby washes barely produce any lather but this one does produce a decent amount of suds. It rinses cleanly without stripping the baby's delicate skin of moisture. It would be a nice little addition to any baby shower gift basket!
This baby wash is very gentle on my baby's skin. I like that it's soap-free so that it doesn't dry out baby's skin. Despite being soap-free, it still lathers really nicely. It feels much more moisturizing as well. I always get fragrance-free products for my kids and some still have an odd scent but this one barely has a scent at all. I tried it out because I have really sensitive skin and didn't have any issues. I'm not sure it's tear-free like most baby washes but I try not to get it in my baby's eyes and definitely wouldn't test it on purpose. Other than that, love it.
This baby wash is great for children and adults with sensitive skin who are looking for something without fragrances or harsh chemicals. The soap barely has a scent at all in addition to not having an added fragrance, and the pump works smoothly. However, even though the soap comes with a plastic clip that locks the pump from accidentally releasing soap, there is no safety seal for the product. It's nice to avoid waste from plastic wrap, but if someone is very concerned about any possible tampering or contamination, they should be aware of this. However, I don't know if that was an oversight with the one I received or if they're all like that.
This is your typical basic (for sensitive skin) baby wash. It's nice, has no unnecessary scents (fragrance-free), and hasn't caused any skin reactions which is a definite plus. It certainly gets the job done. For me personally, the price seems out of alignment with the quantity of product. For $14.99 you could buy a lot of sensitive baby wash soap at your local store. I'm not exactly sure where the pricing came from but for this small of a bottle it's just not right.
I wanted to try out a baby wash other than the generic name brand stuff. I would say I prefer this over some of the name brand stuff, the top most reason being that it’s fragrance free. This is a great option for babies and adults with sensitive skin. It’s also hypoallergenic. It leaves skin feeling soft and without any allergic reactions or rashes luckily. The packaging of the product is very appealing towards kids and makes bath time fun. I would recommend!
This is a good basic baby wash. It is a clear thin/medium gel wash that lathers well but I found that I needed more than I normally use to wash my baby. It is unscented however, there seems to be somewhat of a soapy scent which I'm not a big fan of, but, fortunately, it doesn't linger on the body.
This is a great baby wash for sensitive skin and is lightly scented. The soap really didn't sud much when used. My only complaint is that the body wash did not appear to be very full in the bottle and that it was not tear-free.
Works as expected, but the cost is high for the amount you get.
Not the sudsiest of washes but just right. I have no baby, well... just an alien named Xrpcok who lives in my walls but he sure acts like a human baby. (I never give in.) I have very sensitive skin and wanted to try this out on my face. It was wonderful! Just the right amount of suds washed off easily, did not bother my fragile...and oh, are they ever...eyes, and left my skin looking and feeling great! I am positive it will do the same for your "baby", too. AMple amount, fresh, works!
We have sensitive skin/various allergies in our family and have been using a variety of fragrance free and/or baby washes for many years, well beyond the baby days. I have used most all of them on the market and I have to say, I really, really like this one a lot. The ingredient list is clean and stellar and feels so soothing on the skin in the shower. It feels luxurious upon application and is not drying at all-in fact, it is quite moisturizing. I am so happy to have found this product and will likely reorder another bottle when this one runs out.
This is a good soap for babies and people with sensitive skin. It's clear and fragrance free but still lathers well without too many bubbles. The texture is a little oily although it rinses off completely. I haven't noticed any rashes or irritation from it.
Wonderful fragrance free mild baby wash, soothing, lathers nicely, easy on the skin, and no allergic reactions were noted. It's nice that the baby wash is free from soap, color, PG, lanolin, synthetic fragrances, and is PH balanced. I let my two young nieces ages 2 and 5 try this baby wash out and they loved it plus the cute elephant character on the bottle.
We love this wash! My son has pretty severe eczema and this doesn't cause him to flare or irritate his skin further. A little does go a long way and won't get super sudsy but it cleans well and rinses clean. My only dislike is the yellow on yellow on the bottle, it's a little harder to read.
This Jack N' Jill Natural Bathtime Baby Wash - Baby Soap Sensitive Skin, Hypoallergenic Baby Wash is pretty nice. IT has a nice herbal smell to it and is super soft and gentle on my babys skin.
This Jack N Jill baby wash is very gentle. It does not make too many suds so it rinses easily. It cleans without being harsh so baby’s skin is left feeling soft.
Nice quality. Good ingredients. Nice light smell. Good value
It's a very gentle cleanser. Fragrance-free. It's virtually scent-free. It's almost suds-free, but just enough suds that leave you a clean feeling.
nice wash with not too much lather to get in baby's eyes....and no annoying or cloying baby scent. Seems gentle and doesn't strip skin of natural oils. Skin is soft after without needing an additional lotion. Bottle is rather small though so you need to keep on hand more bottles, and is awkward to hold (square) for applying to a wet baby).
Makes no suds, cleans well, no strong smells at all. No skin irritation after using it. Seems like a good quality product.
I dont have a young baby but have a teenage daughter who has sensitive and eczema-prone skin. I have been very careful about finding the right body cleanser for her. Ordered this because based on the product information, I thought it would be suitable for her. * Product feature: gel texture, fragrance free, Suitable for the most sensitive skin because it is free from soap, colour, PG (propylene glycol), lanolin & synthetic fragrances. * Product design & quality: the cream bottle looks clean and aesthetic with cute elephant design. * User experience: It lathers gently and easily rinses off. Skin feels clean, soft and moisturized. Eczema conditions are under control.
The baby wash is fragrant free and is gentle on the skin, it has good creamy lather. It lathers up to a sumptuous, frothy cuddle of bubbles which slides over my baby’s skin leaving her soft and cleansed. ingredients are natural, seems kind to the skin, so should be quite safe to use.
